One last thing  -  there is no Internet service for a reason. It's for those who
want to get away from big cities and bond with your friends, kids, and
partners. But if you insist on internet access - the AT&T air card works and
the local library will allow you to use their computers.

A Cabin On The Hill

A Cabin on the hill is located 25 miles East of Marietta Ohio just 2 blocks
from the Ohio River. This secluded cabin, originally built in 1842 as a
church, is a great honeymoon get away - or a special family time away from
home.

In 1982, the log home was converted to a 2 bedroom quaint and charming
home and then upgraded in 2007 where it became a cabin get away.  This
private cabin is on 90 acres - no other cabins on the property - making it
great for hanging out with friends and acting crazy with each other.

There are several tables that can be used for entertaining your dinner party
up to 20.   However, there is plenty of space to pitch a tent if you so choose.

Then spend the night relaxing on the porch or by the gas log fire place or
near the fire pit.  There are plenty of private trails, and for those who want
peace and quiet a great retreat.

Guest book testimonials repeatedly focus on family bonding and fun with
friends.

When you relax, you can soak in the claw foot tub and enjoy the bottle of
wine included in your stay.

If you venture out, the local area is perfect for antiquing, spas, history buffs,
and nature lovers.   It is also ideal for hunters,
fisherman stories,
photographers, writers, board games enthusiasts, or to wade in the water, get
romantic, play horseshoes, read, hike, and smell the flowers.

The large bedroom has two custom-built queen beds, the second bedroom
has two twin beds. For larger groups, a futon and cot provides additional
sleeping. The cabin has two bathrooms -- lower with custom tile shower,
upper with a cast-iron claw-foot tub.
