| A Cabin On The Hill offers many amenities. e suggest guests just bring your personal items such as clothing, and food/beverages. The amenities include satellite TV, hairdryer, toiletries, breakfast food for the first morning, a five gallon container of bottled water, coffee beans/grinder and herb tea, gas grill, DVD and video player and tapes, books, games, toiletries, bed linen, washer and dryer, iron, Ironing board, extra pillows and blankets, firewood, plenty of towels. We also provide a complimentary bottle of wine or a bottle of sparkling gourmet lemonade. For more than 4 guests - there is a $10.00 fee each day per guest. This pays for those incidentals and helps keep the cost reasonable. A fully stocked kitchen is filled with pots and pans, dishes, and silverware. There are 3 fire pits for roasting marshmallows or cooking your hotdogs or sausage on a stick. Most of all the guests enjoy the landscaping and the privacy of 90 acres, a creek for fishing and using the driving range located on the property. Bring your own bucket of balls and clubs and try driving the golf balls on Ginny's driving range. Then spend the night relaxing on the porch or by the gas log fire place or near the fire pit. Remember, save some energy - There are plenty of open private trails. Forget the energy, enjoy the peace at this great retreat. -----------Clean Up------------ Guests have asked about clean up - While we appreciate your effort to leave the cabin in reasonably good shape when you leave, we don't expect it to be perfect, it's important you enjoy your stay. Because our rates are much lower than most cabins. we ask guests to assist in some of the cleanup, such as washing your dishes and towels, and cleanup after your dog. If excessive cleanup is needed, such as cleaning dirty dishes, animal hair, stained linens, candle wax, robes, and towels, excessive laundry (laundry soap provided). there will be an extra fee charged for housekeeping services and replacement of stained items. We want all of our guests to enjoy this as a great place to stay and return. A Cabin On The Hill wants to make it convenient for you. No point in stocking your car with towels, pillows or linen. Then having to make up the beds when you get there. We provide quality towels and bed linens for our guests, we ask the guest to take part in making sure the cabin is left in great shape for the next guests visit. Because our rates are reasonable, a washer and dryer and laundry products are provided for washing the towels and sheets. A professional housekeeper will prepare the cabin before you arrive and clean when you leave. We do appreciate and thank all those guests who continue to leave the cabin in great condition so the many other guests can enjoy it for many years. |
